Its almost complete, but some more finishing touches needed...

Restored these old furnitures belonging to my parents. Its my favorite place to sit and view the rice fields and palisdaan

these bamboo slat siding are from salvage old bamboo...




Here is the front gate from the street. Its made of steel wrap with bamboo. The sign "Abong Da Apong" means 'grandfather's grass hut'. The Sign post is really supporting the electric service wire to the property.


The abong is not visible from the street. The trail leading to the abong is 550ft and all the plants are the original vegetation. the shrubs along the walkway are native 'koribetbet' found all over the place.

The free-range chickens lay their eggs all over the place. we have to hunt for them otherwise they disappear before we could get them. thinking of building a chicken coop one of these days...

looking at the inside of the gazebo. The 'bamboo chandelier' was another one of my project. its made of bamboo 'tinik'.


the gazebo is used for outside dining or drinking or just plain hanging around.



these are some of the 'free-range' chicken that roam around the property.



This is what it look like at the fishpond feeding time. Those are not goldfish. They are 'pink tilapia'



This is one of the four dwarf coconuts I planted around the palisdaan.



and this is a malungay tree starting to bloom again after I cut it down.

This is the small planting area at the back of the small bahay-kubo. Plants are rows of eggplants, tomatoes, peppers, corn, aba and whatever the planter wishes to plant.

This is our water tank supported by and old narra tree. Notice the bambo step ladder leading on top of the tank. This will be a platform for my tree house. It can be used for invitation only drinking spree.
